The Key West Rotary Foundation is a group dedicated to awarding college scholarships in our community.  Pat Labrada is the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees which consists of seven members of the Foundation.  Every member of The Rotary Club of Key West is also a member of The Key West Rotary Foundation, Inc.  

The Foundation is funded by club projects including the Key West Boat Show and Fantasy Fest.  The Foundation also receives any money left over for each fiscal year from the club.  We also receive contributions from happy dollars, birthday dollars, fines and the weekly raffle.

Funds are only to be spent on scholarships.  On occasion, funds can be distributed to an individual for other purposes when they are specifically raised for that person.  

The Foundation awards over $43,000 annually in scholarships including The Paul J. Sher Memorial Scholarship, The Helen Nattersted-Simpson Scholarship, Take Stock In Children Scholarships and the Greg O'Berry Award.
