The Rotary Club of Key West!

Thank you for your interest in joining the Rotary Club of Key West — where service meets fellowship in the heart of the Southernmost City! Our members are a diverse group of leaders and community-minded individuals who come together to create positive, lasting change both locally and globally.

Becoming a member begins with an invitation from a current Rotarian and a conversation with our Membership Committee. Prospective members are encouraged to attend a few meetings or service projects to get a feel for our culture and commitment.

Membership includes the following commitments:

  • Regular attendance at weekly meetings and active participation in club activities

  • Annual dues to support club operations and Rotary International initiatives

  • A spirit of service, including involvement in local projects, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities

  • Representing Rotary’s values with integrity and enthusiasm in both professional and personal life

Membership FAQ’s

    • Hold (or be retired from) a professional, proprietary, executive, managerial, or community position

    • Have demonstrated a commitment to service through personal involvement

    • Be able to meet the club’s weekly attendance or community project participation requirements

    • Live in Monroe County for at least one year

  • A person being considered for membership is invited to attend at least three club meetings to learn more about Rotary and to encourage members to get to know you.

  • Members are billed $130 monthly for club dues (this includes your weekly lunch) and quarterly for Rotary International.

  • Members are expected to attend weekly club meetings. They must pay annual dues to their clubs, their Rotary district, and Rotary International, and they’re expected to participate in local or international Rotary club activities or projects. Clubs encourage members to aspire to club leadership or committee roles.

  • Though individuals must be sponsored or proposed for membership, Rotary Club of Key West leaders will evaluate the inquiry, contact you for application information, and assign you a sponsor if you don’t already have one.
